That is a strange beginning for a short missive about a landscaper, but in this case it was a compassion of Otis Laird Jr. to get his degree in Landscape Architecture at Texas Tech University. Later, son Trey graduated from Tech to become a landscape architect as well. When his dad knew the business was in great hands, he turned it over to his son in 2007.
