A Definition of Hardscaping.

First of all, what is the difference between hardscape and landscape?  Hardscaping is a term that is typically used by people to describe anything used in an outdoor space design that is made of natural materials, but not living materials such as trees, shrubs or other plants and grasses.  That could include things like concrete walls, retaining walls, stone pathways, etc.

Landscape is the term with which we are most familiar.  These are the terms that refer to all  softer living materials. Plants, turf or sod grasses, and organic ground covering materials of many types can be considered landscaping.  When hardscaping and landscaping meet in proper measure that is when the magic happens on your property!

To achieve that perfect balance of the two you should consult the Houston hardscape and landscape professionals at Laird Landscaping.  As you have been sitting in your backyard this summer you may have envisioned a different look.  Laird Landscaping will help bring that look to fruition.  Give them a call today at (281) 578-2795.
